POLICE are appealing for the driver of a white van to contact them as they are concerned about the safety of a boy inside.

Three girls reported that a teenage boy was inside and police are making enquiries.

The white van was seen driving down Bramcote Lane, in Wollaton, at about 8.30am on Thursday May 22.

A police spokesperson said: “Three girls raised concerns for a teenager they saw inside the van this morning and as a result officers are making enquiries to trace the driver of the vehicle.

“There have been no reports of anyone of any missing teenage boys and checks with neighbouring forces have also proved negative but we are appealing to the driver to contact us.”

If you were the driver, or know who was, call Notts Police on 101, quoting incident number 162 of 22 May.
