You may already be aware of our service, which offers free Community Mediation to any resident living within Broxtowe Borough. We provide professionally trained volunteers,
who visit neighbours in their own homes and offer mediation to help them discuss the problems that have arisen. We deal with a wide range of issues such as boundaries, parking, verbal abuse and noise. People can often find that the stress involved in dealing
with problems involving their neighbours affects their life in many ways and are unsure how to resolve their differences. Mediation is a way of solving problems between neighbours and our aim is to help them reach an agreement that works for everyone.
Please find enclosed two posters – one giving general information and contact details of our service and one regarding our training course for people looking to develop mediation
skills and opportunities to volunteer with our service within Community Mediation. We would be most grateful if you would circulate or display these to anyone you feel may benefit from the information.
Please feel free to contact us on Nottingham 917 3736 if you have any questions about the service, or would like to refer anyone to us. The office is open from 9.00am to 12.30pm
and there is an answerphone at other times. Please leave a message and we will ring you back as soon as possible. You may of course contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
