Today – Christmas Eve – Stapleford Fire Brigade  have attended this incident on Toton Lane Stapleford.

Thankfully no-one was trapped, witnesses report seeing the red car speeding up Toton Lane towards the Roach, where it left the road and came in to collision with another parked vehicle.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police are now mounting an investigation and are searching for two males who were seen running towards Brookhill Street. Did you see something around 11:40 today? Contact the police via 101 if you can be any help at all.

We made the vehicles safe using our brand new #Holmatro equipment before leaving the incident around 12:30.

Acting Watch Manger Kevin Tedds urges you all “to watch your speed on the road, it’s a busy time of year for us all, where we want to spend time with our friends and family. It’s better to arrive a few minutes late than not at all”. He added “are you having a beer tonight? Don’t risk driving, it really isn’t worth it.”
