Broxtowe Pre-Election Briefings For County Council Candidates

PROSPECTIVE local Councillors and their agents are being given the chance to find out more about the elections process thanks to a pre-election briefing.

Broxtowe Borough Council will host the briefing to share information about the forthcoming County Council election, including the election timetable, nomination process, opening of postal votes and count arrangements.

The briefing will take place at 6.00pm on Thursday, 23 March in the New Council Chamber, Town Hall, Beeston

The County Council elections take place every four years
in Nottinghamshire and are due to take place on 4th May 2017.

To stand for election, candidates must either live in the electoral area and be registered to vote there, or have some other close connection with the area, like working there.
