B6003 Toton Lane, Stapleford – Proposed 30 MPH Speed limit

9th March 2017 staplefordcommunitygroup Help & Advice, Nottingham County Council Tags: 0 Comments

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

In order to facilitate the new development and to meet a planning condition it is proposed to reduce the existing speed limit along part of Toton Lane at Stapleford.

The road is currently 40mph and it is proposed to reduce the speed limit to 30mph between its junctions with the A52 Bardill’s roundabout and Cleve Avenue at the existing 30mph speed limit.

The proposals will be advertised in the Nottingham Post on 1st March 2017 with notices displayed on site.

A plan showing the extents of the proposed speed limit is attached (Drawing Number H/04078/2429) along with a copy of the site notice.

Before proceeding further with the speed limit proposals, I wish to consider the views of residents and organisations who may be interested in this matter.

If your comments are in the form of an objection to the proposals and if they cannot be resolved, they will be reported through the County Council’s statutory procedures at the appropriate time.

Any observations on these proposals should reach me, in writing, either by letter or email, by 31st March 2017.

If you have any queries on the proposed Speed Limit Order please contact Steph Walford on 0115 9774742.
