Lovely weather set to continue but don’t forget to keep an eye on windows and doors. Please make sure they are locked before you go to bed.

Check on elderly neighbours where possible during the warm spell.

15/06/2017 – Bembridge Court, Bramcote – attempt garage break.
16-17/06/2017 – Rufford Avenue, Bramcote – Shed broken into and a Specilized cycle stolen.
16/06/2017 – Stapleford Road, Trowell – garage broken into and tools stolen.
16/06/2017 – Baulk Lane, Stapleford – garage broken into, nothing stolen on this occasion.

Burglary:-
01-16/06/2017 – Kayes Court, Stapleford.

Please lock cycles away even in shed/garages. Mark any tools with postcodes etc. Use close shackled padlocks instead of longer open padlocks as these are easier to crop open. You can used coach bolts to replace some of the screws in your shed. Coach bolts are difficult to screw open from the outside. Register serial number of tools and cycles on www.immobilise.com.

Please DO NOT leave pets in your vehicles. Our pavements are very warm during the day so please consider walking pets early morning or later in the evening when it cools slightly.

Stay cool and safe

Best wishes
