On Friday 10 October the Department for Communities and Local Government decided to lift his earlier call-in on the outline planning application for 450 houses at Field Farm. This gives the go-ahead to the plan approved by Broxtowe Borough Council in April 2013.

Yesterday the Inspector’s report on the Core Strategy was made public… Unfortunately – but not surprisingly – Ms Kingaby declared the Aligned Core Strategies sound and didn’t question the allocation of Field Farm for housing development.
