Wins bring in the business for Hands
Adam Hands hopes his boxing career will be a great advert for his business.
Hands last month opened the B1st Boxing and Fitness gym in Stapleford – and he clearly knows what he’s talking about.
After a 17-fight amateur career with Trinity, Radford Boys and Bilborough ABCs, he’s joined the EBF circuit and has quickly made a big impression.
The 25-year-old welterweight has blasted out back-to-back stoppage wins – and returns to the ring at Derby’s Assembly Rooms on May 26.
Hands sold plenty of tickets for his last fight in February – a 95-second stoppage of Drew Douglas – and is convinced his supporters will follow him to the top in the EBF.
“I will fight for a title as soon as the promoter thinks I’m ready,” he said. “And I can go as far as I want to in boxing.
“I’ve been boxing most of my life and I really do think the sky’s the limit for me.”
Hands says business at his gym is thriving and added: “The classes are proving to be popular and I’m hoping that with every win, I’ll get more customers through the door.”
Tickets for Hands’ next fight are available from 07894-215544.
