As part of the plans, the charge for all day parking at Halls Road car park in Stapleford and Derby Street

Middle in Beeston will be reduced to £1. Currently, Derby Street Middle car park costs £3 a day and Halls Road £1.50 for more than two hours.

The council has said the reduction at Halls Road car park in Stapleford is so the fee is the same as the car park at Cliffe Hill Avenue.

Drivers will also be able to park for longer at Station Road, Beeston, near the railway station. Previously the maximum stay was 24 hours. But up to seven days’ parking will be available for £14 from October.
