5th December 2013 Broxtowe Borough Council, Help & Advice, Stapleford Community Group, Stapleford Town Council Tags: , , , 0 Comments

A short while back Stapleford Town & Borough Councillor John McGrath was joined by members from Broxtowe Borough Council and Stapleford Community Group Chairman Richard MacRae on an estate inspection.

As a result of this inspection Broxtowe Borough Council have been out and carried out more work which was brough to there attention.

As you can see in the picture the hedges around Drydon Court have been cut right back and the area is looking neat and tidy.

The hedge infront of these flats has been cut right down and really opened up the area making it look a lot nicer place to live.

Trees and bushes have been removed and tbe result is the area has really been opened up helping to being back that community feeling to the area.

Stapleford Town Council have had the hedges cut back neat along the allotment that backs onto Braddon Avenue. Opening up the great views looking over towards Sandiacre and Stanton.

Finally back on the market and hopefully soon occupied.

This ground floor flat was left looking abandoned and the garden has been nothing but an eye sore for a long time.

The flat has been made ready for new residents and the garden sorted out too. The alleyway on the right is now opened up as the hedge has been cut right down. Getting rid of what was a complete mess.

Estate inspections are really important and as you can see the results are worth it.

Please continue to pass your concerns about areas of Stapleford North Ward that you feel need to be addressed and we will pick them up on our next inspection.

Don’t forget Stapleford Community Group have a monthly drop in session the 3rd Thursday of each month at Montrose Court Community Centre where you are welcome to come for a chat. Open from 10am.
