Public Meeting Regards Development on Hickings Lane Park.
Firstly we would like to apologise about the confusion caused with regards the meeting earlier this evening at Stapleford Town Council.
We thought that as there was a presentation before the Town Council meeting that members of the public would have been allowed to ask questions and raise concerns. Like members of the public we too would have liked to have seen this happen.
Despite the confusion people who attended thanked us for informing them of the meeting earlier this evening and alerting them to the proposed application. There have been no notices around the site and no one had any idea that a plan had been submitted, so people were thankful we had informed them.
After a brief adjournment where several Councillors spoke with concerned residents it was agreed that a Public Meeting where residents can speak was called for.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 23rd July at 7 pm at The Old Cross, Church Street, Stapleford.
MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WILL BE ALLOWED TO SPEAK AND ASK QUESTIONS.
Again we apologise for any confusion caused earlier.
