The 2 planters will be stripped of the old unkempt bushes.

Once the project is complete the gateway to Stapleford will look a lot better than it currently does, it will also open up the area making it a lot safer for people driving out of Eatons Road and onto Toton Lane.

Stapleford Community Group have invited a local School gardening club to come along and help with planting new items in the 2 planters.

The 2 trees (1 in each planter) will remain.

We are now looking for sponsors for the 2 planters and you can email staplefordcommunitygroup@gmail.com if you or your business is interested.

The idea to do this came about after a meeting between Councilors John McGrath and Richard MacRae, we have also spoken to a member from Dig-In Community Allotment for help and advice.

This really is an exciting opportunity to bring a great improvement to an area of Stapleford that really needs to be done.

Several ideas have already been discussed but we are always welcome to more input, please leave a comment or email your thoughts and ideas to us again via email, staplefordcommunitygroup@gmail.com

Richard you have not been a member of Stapleford Town Council for very long. Our MP, and Prime Minister have both recognised your contribution to help 200 people into work with the help of others, in your area. Well done to you ALL and good job Cllr John McGrath regarding consulting the people you represent.
