Today 18 organisations gathered at The Meeting Place for the 4th Stapleford Jobs Fair.

With a mixture of employment opportunities and training on offer the event was another huge success.

Stapleford Community Group, have spent several months organising the event and approaching local employers and talking about the importance of offering local jobs to local people.

The event was held at The Meeting Place to support this local charity and it’s a very central location for people to easily reach.

As well as employment and training opportunities there was lots of help and advice on offer to local job seekers.

We would like to thank Travelright Broxtowe and Nottinghamshire County Council for kindly sponsoring the event this time around, we are already planning the next event, this will take place from 10am on Monday 10th November at Toton Tesco.

Thanks to The Meeting Place for being wonderful hosts once again.

Thanks to Henri Baptist at Broxtowe Borough Council for all his help and advice.

The jobs fair was an amazing event I’ve already applied for an apprenticeship with the corporate communications team which I have wanted to do since my work experience there. It wouldn’t have been possible without hearing about it through the jobs fair and now I may have found my first rung on the ladder to success big thank you to Richard MacRae for all his efforts in organising such an amazing event!
