Brookhill Street / Antill Street / Lawrence Street/ Balfour – Proposed changes to parking restrictions

17th November 2014 Help & Advice, Nottingham County Council, Upcoming Events Tags: 2 Comments

We first told you about the Proposed Changes to Parking Restrictions a while back now.

Consultation is important: a council needs to know that the decisions they make take into account the views of the people of Nottinghamshire. Involving the public in the work of local government has become an integral part of the policy-making process. It’s not simply about more open-government, although that too is important, it’s about making policies more effective by listening to and taking on-board the views of the public and interested groups.

Why have we only just heard about this, does Stapleford not have a County Councillor which should be making people aware of things like this. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
