Anna Soubry MP, Supporting Independent Shops In Stapleford.

6th December 2014 Local Businesses, MP Anna Soubry, Stapleford Community Group Tags: , , 0 Comments

Anna Soubry MP for Broxtowe officially opened Shabbylicious in Stapleford today.

The new business specialises in selling Shabbychic furniture and also doubles up as a Tea Room with fresh Scones and cakes.

Also supporting other local crafters by selling their hand made items.

Based at 210 Derby Road, Stapleford.

Well worth a visit and good luck with the business for the future.

Local Business woman Allison Turner was talking over Tea & Cakes about some of the struggles small independent businesses face, Alison is working on an event with Stapleford Community Group for the benefit of people in Stapleford and the MP was very supportive of the project which will be revealed next year.

What a great turn out for the official opening and well done to Rebecca and family for putting on a great event.

Allison Turner and Donna Mather enjoying a posh cuppa and cakes.

A local acoustic bank performed a great version of Rocking Robin for the crowd.

As part of Small Business Saturday the MP couldn’t resist nipping into All Things Pretty and buying some Christmas gifts whilst she was in Stapleford.  And who could fault her, it’s your one stop shop for those Christmas gifts and decorations with a difference.
