1. Welcome and Introduction
Councillor White welcomed everybody to the meeting.

2. Apologies
Councillor Brian Wombwell.

3. Police Update
Since the last proposed CAT meeting on 24/07/14 there have been 3 dwelling house burglaries; Maryland Court, Matthews Court and Meadow View. There has been a shed burglary on Pastures Road. There was a robbery at the Top Shop on Pastures Road, an offender was arrested and charged. There was a theft of a motor vehicle on Meadow View and an attempted theft on Montrose Court. A theft from a motor vehicle happened on Harrison Road and Moorbridge Lane. Reports of ASB are very low.

Year to date dwelling burglaries are down 50%, shed/garage burglaries are down 43%, theft of motor vehicles are down 50% theft from motor vehicles are down 25%

A resident was still concerned with parking around the community centre, the Police are monitoring this. PF explained that a car can only be ticketed if it is causing an obstruction.

A resident reported cars parking on the grass verge on Hickings Lane where children had planted shrubs.
ACTION: IW to follow up

4. Update on actions
There were no actions from the previous meeting.

5. Residents’ Issues
Residents can join New Stapleford Community Association for £2 and will allow them to have their say on how the centre is run.

The Police sign on Brandon Avenue needs removing.

RM reported that it is hoped that internet facilities and a cooker will be installed at the community centre.

Framework Housing Association will be developing the houses on Anthill Street.

Pinfold is still going ahead and consultation has taken place.

Moulds Yard has a CPO order, 16 new properties will be built on the site.

The Chequers has been sold and there has been an application for a change of use.

Aldi on Pinfold Lane is going through the planning process.
