Are you passionate about meeting the needs of disabled children and their families? Can you deliver a quality crisis service through a team of highly trained volunteers?

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our family support team to deliver our East Midlands Family Support Service. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Health and Social Care setting and be able to recruit and manage a volunteer team. Caudwell Children transforms the lives of children across the UK through the provision of equipment, treatment, therapies and vitally needed family support services.

The service provides practical and emotional support to families with disabled children across the East Midlands Region, with the support of a Region Manager and volunteer team. You will need to be able to effectively assess the needs of families, work in partnership with other services and put in place the crisis support needed.

If you can co-ordinate the provision of services to families during time of emergency or crisis and recruit and manage a dedicated volunteer team, this could be your next challenge.

This post is based in the community covering the East Midland Region, focusing predominately on the Nottinghamshire area. All candidates need to thrive managing their own workloads, have excellent administration and IT skills. Applicants need a valid driving licence, access to a vehicle.
