Bookings for our FREE CARERS HOLIDAY SCHEME  for the 2015 holiday season have been coming in at a steady pace, however there are still a few dates left and I am detailing them below in case you know someone who would like to apply.

I am also attaching an application form which is suitable for either our Blackpool or Skegness sites.

Application Form both vans – Mar14

The Respite Association now has TWO Holiday Caravans, one based in Skegness, Lincolnshire on The Richmond Holiday Park and the newest of our acquisitions based at Newton Hall Holiday Centre in Staining just on the outskirts of Blackpool.   If the remarks left in our comments books are anything to go by everyone who had a break  during 2014  thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous vans and holiday centres.  These holidays are offered to suitable Carers “FREE OF CHARGE” for breaks of a week WITHOUT the person they normally care for giving our hard worked Carers a complete break from their caring duties and allowing them to build up their strength before returning to their loved ones and caring for them again. Carers who normally look after a sick or disabled husband/wife are allowed to take  a friend or relative for company.  A number of the carers who went  last year  had one child with disabilities and others that did not, these families took the able bodied children  only so that they could spend some real quality time with the children who perhaps unavoidably get less attention during the year due to the needs of the disabled child. In some cases we were able to help fund alternative care for the disabled child whilst the rest of the family were away.

Dates that are currently free, but please note these reduce daily so applications  should be sent asap.

All dates run from Saturday to Saturday (with one noted exception)
