Following the success of the Fit4Fun events held in Stapleford we are running the next one in Toton.

Stapleford Community Group realise the importance of not only teaching kids to eat healthy but to also play healthy.

The event will be a mix of Healthy Cooking and Eating along with learning various sports.

PulpFriction Smoothie Bar Project will be available for the children to try out as well as make some healthy food themselves.

Toton Tornados FC will be joining the fun and teaching the children some sporting skills.

Stapleford Community Group will be bringing along outdoor sports activities for all to join in with.

As part of the Nottinghamshire County Health Partnerships, the Stapleford Nutrition & Dietary Department will be teaching the children Healthy Cooking and helping the children prepare their own lunch.

The event is being jointly organised for the children of Toton by Richard MacRae, Mia Kee, Michelle Patel and Rebecca Whittaker who have joined forces to put on this  FREE 2 day event to be held at the Greenwood Community Centre.

We would like to thank Toton County Councillors Richard Jackson and John Doddy for funding this event via the County Councillors Division Fund which they receive.

We are also looking into organising another event back in Stapleford later in the year.

Any residents of Toton who would like there Children to attend then please get in touch.
