13th June 2015 Councillor Richard MacRae, Local Businesses, MP Anna Soubry, Updates from Politicians Tags: , , , 1 Comment

Stapleford Businesses owners and local Borough Councillors met last night to discuss the Stapleford High Street.

A meeting took place at The Old Cross which had been organised by Stapleford Borough Councillors John McGrath and Richard MacRae.

Anna Soubry MP,Minister of State (Minister for Small Business, Industry and Enterprise) for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills was invited along to talk to the business owners and discuss various ways they can be helped to help them thrive on the High Street.

Various proposals were discussed and ways to make the High Street better were also discussed.

The business men and women know best how to run a business and the ideas and thoughts they have need to be listened too if we want to make Stapleford a better place.

The Borough Councillors for Stapleford were invited along to listen and discuss these ideas.

By working together for the greater good of the wider community we can make Stapleford a great place and this all started this week.

Thank you to Shabbylicious Catering who supplied the buffet, which was enjoyed by all.
