24th June 2015 Broxtowe Borough Council, Local Businesses, Upcoming Events Tags: , , , 0 Comments

After three years away, Wilkos is returning to Beeston in a new prominent position at the heart of the Town Centre in the Henry Boot Developments retail scheme overlooking The Square.

The Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Susan Bagshaw will officially open the new store at 9.00am on Thursday 25th June.

To welcome the new tenants, the Arts & Craft fair which is a regular visitor to Beeston, will be taking place on the day and the bus operators and Tramlink will bring along an Infobus to provide information on the new tram service, which is due to open later this summer, as well as details on the new bus and tram interchange which is now planned to open in July.

And that’s not all, music from local artists will be taking place throughout the morning from around 10.00am. Central College will be on hand with face painting for the young at heart and Beeston BID will be hosting a stall to promote the town centre up and coming events.

Arts and Craft organises fairs around the East Midlands where you can find many gifts and collectables to buy from a variety of skilled crafters. The Craft fair will be in Beeston on 25, 26 and 27 June inclusive.
