Bramcote House Care Home To Close & All Staff Made Redundant.

Yesterday staff at Bramcote House Care Home, Town Street, Bramcote were told they are ALL to be made redundant.

They were given their pay slips then as it’s pay day on Wednesday (tomorrow) to then be told it could be 4 to 6 weeks maybe longer before they get paid. They are now worried they may not even receive their wages. Staff have been told they must remain or face the possibility of not getting redundancy pay.

But staff are more worried what will happen to the 13 elderly residents who’s families have been informed they have to move them to other care homes. Such upheaval is not fair and will have serious implications on the elderly folk.

Staff have gone to work today but still do not know what’s happening as the owner of the Care Home left yesterday after telling the staff the bad news and has not left them any contact details to get hold of him. The owners name is Mr Saber.

Staff at the Bramcote House Care Home on Town Street are besides themselves with worry.

They have bills to pay, rent and buy food and many have young children.

Town Street, Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, NG9 3DP. 0115 925 7316

Above is the contact number and address for the care home.

Broxtowe Borough Councilors Janice Goold and Richard MacRae are trying to help the staff and anyone effected can contact the two Councillors via jan.goold@broxtowe.gov.uk or richard.macrae@broxtowe.gov.uk
