Residents Urged To Have Their Say On Public Conveniences
Broxtowe Residents are being urged to get online and have their say on the provision of public conveniences in the Borough, as part of a consultation to help the Council review a number of different options.
The short questionnaire is available online on Broxtowe Borough Council’s website at www.broxtowe.gov.uk and is quick and easy to fill in, using a series of drop down boxes and point and click answers on issues including the condition of the public conveniences in the Borough, access to the sites and how often local residents use them.
The Council wants to hear from as many local residents as possible to help review a number of options to help improve the facilities available and meet the needs of the local community, as well as consider ways to save money .
The Council currently provides five public conveniences in the Borough. Suggested options include the introduction of a pay per use system or a Community Toilet Scheme whereby members of the public are able to use the toilet facilities in a range of approved local businesses and other organisations during their opening hours for free.
The consultation is available online at www.broxtowe.gov.uk until 26th October.
