We’ve listened to local residents and we’re delighted to announce that the brand new Y4 route now runs from Sandiacre and Stapleford into Nottingham city centre.

The Y4 runs with six newly refurbished buses and offers a 15 minute service throughout the daytime on Monday to Saturday and every 20 minutes on Sunday, ideal for commuters and shoppers.

Sarah Taylor, Commercial & Marketing Manager, commented: “We are delighted to be able to introduce a brand new service for the residents of Sandiacre and Stapleford.

“The buses offer a pleasant, colour co-ordinated environment for customers along with free wi-fi and a host of other features designed to make travelling by bus an even more comfortable and convenient alternative to the car.

“These features include high back  seats and dedicated spaces for people using a wheelchair or pushing a buggy.  The buses also have the latest fuel efficient engines so they are kinder to the environment with low emissions”

Anyone who travels on Y4 will benefit from some of the cheapest fares around in response to customer feedback including a £5 unlimited day ticket after 9am.
