Local residents and visitors to Nottingham are being offered the chance to explore the city’s expanded tram network for just £1.

On Sunday, October 11, fares will be cut for the day as part of celebrations following the opening of new lines to Chilwell and Clifton.

Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “As well as being a way of thanking our regular customers for their enthusiastic response to the new services, the £1 Sunday offer also provides the ideal opportunity for even more people to discover the many benefits of travelling around the city by tram.”

On the day, there will be trams in and out of the city centre every 10 minutes, and ample parking at seven park and ride facilities across the city – including the new sites at Clifton South and Toton Lane.

Jamie added: “We are delighted at how well the new services have been received, and this special, post launch celebration offer will give even more people the opportunity to see just how easy, quick and convenient the tram is to use.”

The £1 Day tickets are available from all tram stop ticket machines and customers must buy one before they board the tram.
