2016 STAPLEFORD CARNIVAL
The 2016 Stapleford Carnival will be held on Saturday 3rd September 2016; at the Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, close to the Co-op Store on the corner of Hickings Lane, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 8JJ.
The proceeds go to many charities and good causes care of The Rotary Club of Beeston, who are now our Sponsors;
The Carnival is normally attended by up to 4,000 people. This represents a great opportunity for your organisation to take part in the fun and make some money or engage in public awareness activities.
We would like you to take part as a contributor – we will explain the day and any means by which we can make sure the day goes smoothly.
STALL CHARGES – 15ft FRONTAGE (WE WILL BE CHARGING THE SAME AS IN THE PAST – NO INCREASES)
For Charities from £10.00
For Commercial from £15.00 (This is subject to what you will be exhibiting or selling – please contact the Carnival Organisers to confirm your payment)
The costs are for positions only, no equipment is provided by the Organisers.
All cheques must be made payable to: The Rotary Club of Beeston Trust Fund. Invoices can be requested at any time but please give us a reasonable time to send them out. Please send a stamped addressed envelope should you require an invoice or receipt. It is noted that we have kept these rates for many years so that stalls are affordable.
PRE PAYMENT IS ESSENTIAL (except by prior arrangement). Caterers will need a Food Stall Form to Complete.
Wednesday 31st August 2016 is the closing date for Stall Applications.
THE CARNIVAL DAY
PARADE – PLEASE NOTE LIKE LAST YEAR WE WILL ONLY BE DOING A STRICTLY VEHICULAR PARADE THROUGH STAPLEFORD UP TO THE CARNIVAL SITE – IF YOU WISH TO TAKE PART OR WANT MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT THE ORGANISERS.
ILKESTON ROAD RECREATION GROUND
There will be people on site from 7.30 am on the Saturday 3rd September.
You are more than welcome to come along any time after that to set up your stall / exhibition area – you will be told were to set up by the Field Organisers. You must be set up by 10.45 am – and no vehicles will be allowed on the Carnival Field after that time, except with prior permission. Please note your attendance is at your own risk.
PLEASE CAN YOU TAKE YOUR OWN WASTE AWAY AS DUE TO COUNCIL CUTS WE DO NOT HAVE LITTER PICKERS. If you have not sold “IT” or require “IT” any more please take it to your nearest tip and leave it there!! NOT ON THE CARNIVAL SITE!
* Please note due to Health and Safety regulations we cannot have live animals as prizes.
The Carnival Field will be open to the General Public from around 11.00 am and we expect the Carnival to finish around 5.30 pm. (17.30)
The Carnival will be opened by the Carnival Opening Party at 12.30 pm.
