After a number of vehicle breaks – Please remember to ensure all items of value are removed from vehicles. Leave nothing on display.

If you have a house alarm, please use it. We are now coming to darker nights, please consider using timer switches to give the illusion someone is home. Ensure all windows and doors are locked, especially before going to bed. Now is the time to check your homesecurity.

Recently 4 persons were charged in connection with a spate of burglaries around the area.

One person detained for shed breaks in the area.

PC 2631 Chris Copley re-joins your neighbour policing team at Beeston.

Halloween is on its way – We have FREE door postcards for ‘No Trick or Treaters’ – please collect from Beeston Police Station Front Counter. If you have children, please do not allow them to knock on doors displaying the cards – please be considerate.

Watch out in the Beeston area, a friend of mine stopped a burglar climbing into his garden over the wall last night. The would be burglar was in his late teens / early twenties. When my friend confronted him he said he was looking for his ball. At 11pm. Really? He was climbing in from Sainsbury’s delivery yard, my friend lives on Derby st.
