Dog Attacked In Stapleford. WARNING INCLUDES GRAFFIC PICTURES
An 80 year old ladies dog was viscously attacked on Monday monrning, while out for his walk.
Her dog is in a terrible way and has been receiving vet care since.
The pipe is a drip that drains the bacteria out. He has an infection that will take weeks to clear if at all.
The flesh is dying around the stitches so will need further ops again of it can be done.
The injury was bad the vet could put his hand in at the wound point and reach right up his spine
The attack happen on warren ave/oakfield road/warren ave extension.
The elderly ladies dog was leashed, but the very big and nasty Rottweiler was not on a lead and not under control.
Had the elderly lady not jumped on her dog to protect it her dog would have died no question about it. The vets bills are into 4figures already with the dog on needing a lot more care and possibly more surgeries.
The owner of the Rottweiler has admitted that the dog is normally leashed due to the unreliable temperament.
Please anyone walking a dog in and around that area please do avoid at all costs. The impact this has had on the victim and the dog is indescribable and something I wouldn’t wish on any one else.
