Foodbank Donations Urgently Required.

There are two Food Banks in Stapleford and both could do with your help and support as they help many needy local residents.

If you are able to help then there is a list of what is required below.

You can drop off donations between 9am and 11am Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Church@MontroseCourt according to hours posted on the Facebook Page.

You can also drop donations off between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday, 9am and 5pm on Thursday and 9am until 12pm and 3pm until 5pm on Friday The Haven Centre according to the opening hours posted on the Facebook Page.

There is also a drop off point in Nicely Saved at the Sanctuary Coffee Shop and there is also a drop off point we set up inside Coffee City at the Stapleford Health Centre.

Broxtowe Youth Homelessness also run a Food Bank for the many youngsters they help, you can also drop them any kind donations from 9am until 4pm Monday to Thursday. We also help them with other donations we receive too.

Donations are desperately needed of the following items.

Milk (UHT or powdered)
Sugar (500g)
Fruit juice (carton)
Soup Pasta sauces
Sponge pudding (tinned)
Tomatoes (tinned)
Cereals
Rice pudding (tinned)
Tea Bags/instant coffee
Instant mash potato
Rice/pasta
Tinned meat/Fish
Tinned fruit
Jam
Biscuits or snack bars

Also donations of

Tooth paste
Tooth brushes
Soap
Deodorant
Nappies
Baby food

There is also Surplus Food Donations from Lidl and Tesco which are kindly donated to Stapleford Community Group several times a week and we post on our Social Media Group when and where available so please look out on Stapleford Community Group for updates as to when this is available.

NO VOUCHERS REQUIRED AND COLLECTION ONLY For the Surplus Food Donations.
