Swan Canaries at St Helens Church.
We would like to thank the Arletty Theatre for an amazing performance of Swan Canaries at St Helens Church.
The performance was part of #StaplefordRemembers and to remember those who sadly died in the Munitions Factory explosion.
We would also like to thank everyone for the kind donations as we raised £330 which has all been donated to ST Helens Church towards the Annex Project.
Thank you to Bakezillas Bespoke Cakes who made the cake above.
Thank you to Jackie Smith who made the cake above.
Both cakes were absolutely amazing and enjoyed by all. The pictures really don’t them justice and we are most grateful.
A huge thank you to Karen MacKay and Donna MacRae who served the drinks and cake throughout the afternoons events.
Also thanks to Abi Burton and Danni MacRae for washing the pots and helping to tidy up.
We were joined by the Mayor of Broxtowe Borough Council and his wife.
Also joined by the Mayor of Stapleford Town Council and his wife.
They all enjoyed the performance and we are grateful they took the time to join us for today’s event.
Also thank you to Councillor David Grindell for being the host today, his help and support is always appreciated.
With plenty of sing a long songs it was great to listen to the audience take part.
We would also like to say a massive thanks to the Stapleford U3A Group who sang outside the Church for the crowd as they waited to go in for the performance. Crowd participation was great, thank you to Hazel and the team.
