24th December 2018 Broxtowe Lotto, Church@MontroseCourt, Local Businesses, Stapleford Community Group, Surplus Food Donations Tags: , , , , , , , , 2 Comments

First off we would like to thank Sandicliffe Transit Centre Nottingham as we couldn’t have done this without there kind support today.

Also thank you to those who turned up at Aldi and helped load up and those who helped unload when we got back to Stapleford.

Thanks to @AldiUk who kindly donated over £1,900 worth of Surplus Food Donations today.

Thanks to @LidlUK who made two massive donations today.

Thanks to Tesco who also made a massive donation today.

Thanks to the Church@MontroseCourt as we had donations available there this morning too.

A big big thank you to Sparkle Day Care Nursery for kindly opening up so we had a collection point.

We lost count of how many turned up to collect the Food but we hope it helps you all over the Christmas period.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Have you considered supporting Stapleford Community Group in what we do?

You could take part in the Broxtowe Lotto and support us.

The next Broxtowe Lotto draw is on Saturday – have you got your tickets yet?

That’s great, will have helped a lot of people out, and prevent food waste.

Will there be any future collections from Sparkle Nursery ( or any other more central location) for those who can’t always get to Montrose Court?

It is something being looked into. The items collected from Lidl in Sandiacre get distributed around the various Independent Living Complexes like Westbourne Court, Rockwell Court and Gutersloh Court and also Stapleford Youth Club.
