Montrose Court Noticeboard, A Great Place For Local Information.

18th July 2019 Broxtowe Borough Council, Help & Advice, Stapleford Community Group Tags: , , 0 Comments

The Noticeboard at Montrose Court has been in place for many years now and it was thanks to the campaigning of Stapleford Community Group and the support of Councillor John McGrath that it finally got installed all them years ago.

Once in place the responsibility of looking after the Noticeboard which includes cleaning it and keeping the information updated was given to Stapleford Community Group by Broxtowe Borough Council.

It is used to help get information to local residents, many of who don’t use social media or have internet access.

It is used to promote Community Action Team Meetings and other upcoming events and also let people know details of local Food Banks and other such useful information.

If anyone would like to have any information displayed on the Noticeboard there are several ways this can be done and these are the rules which were agreed between Stapleford Community Group and Broxtowe Borough Council when the Noticeboard was installed. It also avoids any unnecessary confusion too.

You can email and we will gladly print out the information you send us or you can as many do send them in the post to Stapleford Community Group, 245 Ilkeston Road, Stapleford, NG9 8JH
