#StaplefordFoodProject, Over 23,000 Meals Of Surplus Food Donations Collected.
The #StaplefordFoodProject has now collected over 23,000 meals worth of Surplus Food Donations and got them to people in need.
PLEASE KEEP A LOOK OUT ON OUR FACEBOOK GROUP FOR WHEN AND WHERE DONATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP.
The donations are collected from Tesco in Toton, Aldi in Strelley, The Coop and Lidl in Sandiacre as well as any other businesses who kindly make donations.
There are collected throughout the week and have been handed out to local residents.
They have been made available at the Church@MontroseCourt on Wednesday mornings and other mornings whenever possible, sometimes volunteers have made themselves available so extra surplus food can be given out in the late afternoon.
Stapleford Youth Club, who continue with the Wednesday evening projects.
Sparkle Daycare Nursery and Earl Years Playgroup and Pre School have had donations as well. Both for use during sessions and to take home after to help out families.
The Haven Centre and South Broxtowe Children’s Centre have had donations to help with the Holiday Hunger sessions.
Bilborough Foodbank, Traceys Street Kitchen as well as Walkers Notts have all had donations.
Also been able to help Arena Foodbank in Ilkeston.
We have recently helped The Big Kirk Hallam Community Centre.
