Knitters Wanted. Can You Help?

1st December 2019 Local Businesses, Stapleford Community Group Tags: , 3 Comments

Stapleford Community Group are asking if anyone can help make knitted items which will then be donated to the homeless and also to Queens Medical Centre to benefit those in need.

We have been kindly donated loads of 22g balls of Wool off SmithsNews.

The Wool can be collected from Ilkeston Road, Stapleford and once the items have been made they can be dropped back off at the same location.

Thank you for the reply. We have been asked that Hats and Scarves are knitted for the homeless. Once we gather them all up they will then be taken out and handed out. Any help with the knitting would be very much appreciated. Please email for address for collection and thanks again.

I knit and donate hats and scarves to Canaan Trust in Long Eaton. I’ve got quite a lot on at the moment, but I’d be happy to knit some up for you. If you have plenty of people to knit for you that’s fine, I will continue to knit for Canaan Trust anyway.
