This is a question we gets asked a lot.
This is a statement made by Paul Woodhouse – One of the Directors of Sandicliffe:
Sandicliffe has been in Stapleford since it was formed in 1948.
Due to the expanding Ford car range, as of quarter four, we are relocating the New Car Sales Department to Abbeyfield Road in Nottingham.
All other departments, including new commercial vehicles will remain in Stapleford.
The picture taken is of the old Sandicliffe Petrol Station in 1948, it has changed over the years but sadly is soon to close for good.
Stapleford Councillor Richard MacRae has been speaking with Sandicliffe this morning who have confirmed the Petrol Station is set to close down.
Nathan from Sandicliffe says:
“The forecourts last day will be Monday and will not be reopened due to some developments around Sandicliffe.”
Sandicliffe have also said that whilst it has been a difficult decision to close the Petrol Station the Garages and Car Sales are not closing.
